Noah's Ark was Huge
It's
funny... I've "known" (sure, go ahead and say it, - “no Warren, you “believed”,
but there’s no way you could have known” – meh, whatever) that the dimensions
of Noah's Ark were huge for years. I've
"known" that the cutsie Sunday School pictures of a funky little Tug
Boat-like vessel, with a Giraffe, whose neck was bout half as long as the
'boat' sticking out a window, or an elephant standing on one side of the deck
causing the boat to significantly lean to one side, etc. was, to be blunt, absurd!
Yet
seeing this full sized replica “Inside the 7-Story Noah's Ark Replica”, via NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt[1],
of Ken Ham’s / AiG’s “Ark Encounter”[2] I
am in awe... I must confess I am constantly thinking - "wow, that thing is
huge!" - and I've even found meself being skeptical that 'ole' primitive
Noah could ever have accomplished such a feat'.
Sad really, evolution tells us that primitive man was dumb, lacking in
resources, and lived for very short periods of time (as individuals).
Yet,
the evidence of massive constructs throughout so-called 'primitive' history is
astounding: the Great Wall of China, the Pyramids, Petra, the Gobekli Tepe
ruins, to name but a few, all defy the LibProg's, evolutionary world view of a
dumb, lacking in resources, primitive man who was incapable of doing such
marvelous exploits as what we 'smart peeps' in the 21st century can pull
off. Pfffft!
Interesting
also, on this front, is the argument that the - 'most likely causes of those
magnificent builds from ancient antiquity are, none other than, ancient aliens...'
- bah, haa, haa... rotfl. I mean REALLY,
the LibProg #GHADE just cannot bring himself / herself to even really consider
- "G-d (Christ) did it" - but they have ZERO problem theorizing that
some ancient aliens 'did it'?!?!
But
I digress, back to evolution tells us that primitive man was dumb, lacking in
resources, and lived for very short periods of time (as individuals). This is done for two reasons. One is rather obvious, the #GHADE really, and
with whole-hearted enthusiasm, believe that to be true. But there is another
reason the #GHADE promote the idea of ancient man being dumb, with relatively
short lifespans.
The
#GHADE need ancient humanoids to be what evolution tells us, and that is that
primitive man was dumb, lacking in resources, and lived for very short periods
of time (as individuals), in order to build apparent credence into the views
that life, as it has evolved, has done so in complete contrast to, and utter
violation of, the Second Law of Thermo-dynamics, a.k.a. 'the Law of Increasing
Entropy' (or of increasing disorder).
Increasing Entropy states that as time marches forward, so does decay,
disarray, disorder and the likelihood of complete collapse. (And the #GHADE
will argue - “in a closed system”, - and then further suggest that - “life is an open
system”). The idea that man, in fact all
life, began its existence as very simple, very dull, very lacking in resources,
and also living very short life-spans, serves to help the #GHADE in their
argument that life opposes, rather than complies with, the Second Law, see my Blog
“Does Life Keep or Violate the Second Law”. But if one looks at the evidence of amazing
fabrications from ancient antiquity, and weighs said evidence (with the
understood limitations that modern engineers point out in terms of our
inabilities to construct such marvels) against what we humans can and do
accomplish today, one cannot help but see that Increasing Entropy has, very
much, taken its toll on humankind. And
done so in just c.~ 5,900 years...
“No
Jesus, NO peace” and yet, “Know Jesus, KNOW peace”
How
does one get to “know” Jesus? Simple,
invite Him into your heart, as Jesus says: “Here I am! I stand at the door and
knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with
him, and he with me.” [Revelation
3:20 NIV] How can be assured that this Jesus stuff
means anything? Well because the Bible
tells us so, as the Apostle Paul wrote:
“If
you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that
God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart
that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess
your faith and are saved.” [Romans
10:9-10 NIV]
And
for those of you who say to me, I can’t be bothered reading the Bible, “it’s
confusing” or “it’s a waste of my time”, may I draw your attention to what the
Bible says about wisdom: “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and
knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” [Proverbs 9:10 NIV]

John
3:16 says: “For God so loved the world
that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not
perish but have eternal life.”
And
John 14:6 says: “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No
one comes to the Father except through me.”
