Incarnation to Resurrection, Day Twenty-five

Incarnation to Resurrection

#‎RAD #‎ATEND G-d (Christ) #‎IIC714

Incarnation to Resurrection roughly three and one-half years, in 12 weeks, Sunday through Friday (six days) per week

Day Twenty-five of Eighty-four:

The Ways of the Father.  Jesus today promises, I will give you rest” - Matthew 11:28, citing that His yoke is easy, and His burden is light.  He exhorts us to “Not Worry For Anything”.  Later we’ll read about what, and who Jesus says His mother, brothers (and sisters) are.

And that, right there ^ ^ ^ that, my friends, is GOOD NEWS!

We’ll leave reading the rest of the text for you individually.

I’ve taken the liberty of assembling a weekly chart of daily readings to cover the chronology

“No Jesus, NO peace” and yet, “Know Jesus, KNOW peace”

How does one get to “know” Jesus?  Simple, invite Him into your heart, as Jesus says: “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.” [Revelation 3:20 NIV]  How can be assured that this Jesus stuff means anything?  Well because the Bible tells us so, as the Apostle Paul wrote:

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” [Romans 10:9-10 NIV]

And for those of you who say to me, I can’t be bothered reading the Bible, “it’s confusing” or “it’s a waste of my time”, may I draw your attention to what the Bible says about wisdom: “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” [Proverbs 9:10 NIV]

If nothing else, PLEASE read two chapters from the Bible – (don’t own one, sorry NO excuse, if you’re reading this, you can access this: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John%203:16&version=NIV) John 3 and John 14!

John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

And John 14:6 says: “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Incarnation to Resurrection, Day Twenty-four

Incarnation to Resurrection

#‎RAD #‎ATEND G-d (Christ) #‎IIC714

Incarnation to Resurrection roughly three and one-half years, in 12 weeks, Sunday through Friday (six days) per week

Day Twenty-four of Eighty-four:

Jesus speaks to false piety, and arrogance as he denounced, by name, many of the communities where His mighty works had already been shown.  Chorazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum, “woe to you!” says He, the Lord of Hosts, “woe to you.” Why?  Jesus made these blunt declarations because of the haughty, arrogance N’ godlessness of those communities.  Jesus asked, in Matthew 11:16 & 19 - “…But to what shall I compare this generation?” “John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ 19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!” ESV

In Luke Chapter Seven, verses 36 through 50, we read of Jesus’ encounter with a ‘lady of the evening’, a harlot, who happened into the home of a Pharisee that had invited Jesus to come dine with him, just as Jesus was about to eat.  The woman caused a bit of a seen, weeping, dripping her own tears plus an expensive perfume, an “alabaster flask of ointment” onto the Lord’s feet.  The Pharisee, quite indignant at the debacle of a scene, said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, for she is a sinner.” Jesus, not missing a beat, knowing the very thoughts of the Pharisee, presented the parable of “The Money Lender”, and proceeded to ask the Pharisee, “who might love the money-lender more?”

Something that you may have considered, something that I have pondered many times – “How odd… the ‘judgemental’ Pahrisee (Pharisees?) stir up a fuss over a common street harlot, entering his home, and fussing over Jesus.  Just how was this mysterious ‘lady of the street’ able to gain to open, unencumbered access to the guest of the Pharisee, Jesus, in the first place?”  We’ll likely never know.

This passage of Scripture finishes with an account of some murmuring amongst the other guests present at the dinner – “Who does he think he is, forgiving sins!” and with Jesus’ declaration that “Your sins are forgiven.” & “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.

And that, right there ^ ^ ^ that, my friends, is GOOD NEWS!

Incarnation to Resurrection roughly three and one-half years, in 12 weeks, Sunday through Friday (six days) per week

Day Twenty-three of Eighty-four:

As we progress into today’s section in Matthew we read of:

“Is this what you were expecting? Then count yourselves most blessed!”” – Matthew 11:1 – 6, MSG  See also Luke 7:18-35

Jesus said, “go back and tell John - the blind see, lame walk, lepers are cleansed, deaf hear, dead are raised from the grave and wretched men of the earth learn that God is on their side.”  There was a messenger, yes a messenger from G-d, the messenger Malachi announced in Chapter Three verse one - “…I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me.”

Odds of Life

Odds of Life

#‎RAD #‎ATEND G-d (Christ) #‎IIC714

Odds of Life

Some have pointed out that:

~ There are apparently remnants of a large boat-like structure sitting atop a mountain in Turkey

Ok... there are also:

~ Marine fossils atop mountain ranges, *the globe over*...

~ Land critter fossils buried under vast ocean trenches, *the globe over*...

~ Allegedly three *global* ice ages...

~ Allegedly five (5), now apparently six (6), "Mass Extinctions" encompassing areas on all eight major land masses, and all the Earth's ocean subfloor's areas, with common fossil types per 'layer'....

But, yeah.... there's absolutely ZERO evidence for a global catastrophic flood

Ok

A few have proposed (some say atheists have proposed this) that - "the chances of all these things coming about by some cosmic accident are about one in 10 to the 40,000th power (1:10^40k)[5].  And liken it to a tornado blowing through a junk yard and creating a 747." - I'm not sure if atheists propose those odds against, or not, though I am sure there are people who suggest odds against, at least, akin… to those odds.

Penrose in his book, "The Emperor's New Mind", argues that the calculation for entropy is - 1:10^10123 (1:10^10^123), or ZERO (0).

Considering that the estimate for all the atoms in the known, or "observable", Universe only numbers to c~ 10^79[1], the idea of life arising, at all, without a special Creator, against odds of 1:10^10,123, are so far below reasonable, it is indescribably silly.  And if the odds against ratio of 1:10^40k is used, the conclusion that life arose, at all, without a Creative cause, is even more dauntingly idiotic.

The math is not in favour of the ToE, as a viable explanation for the vast variety of life on Earth either.  The odds of #LUCA to #HSS through any number (billions, trillions, quintillions) of witto, itty bitty micro steps over a span of 13,750,000,000^13.75billion, are still below 1:10^10^123.  Never mind how impossible one species (#LUCA) to the alleged 10 billion[2] (10,000,000) species, including #HSS, in under 4 billion[3] (3,800,000,000) years.  To go from one species to 10 billion species over a time span of just 3.8 billion years, requires - WAIT for it... - Nearly THREE (3) new successful species per year, every year, for all 3.8 billion years.

A typical cell contains approximately 12 components, including DNA & RNA.  With twelve components, there are over 479 thousand possible combinations.  So, the odds of a successful mutation being beneficial for a single celled organism are 1:479k.  Even if one assumes only half of the possible outcomes are needed, on average, for one species to form a new species, that's still 1:285k. If each trial could happen in one second, all 285,00 could be experienced in about three days.   But, when you look at the breakdown for RNA, which follows, you'll see that 1:285k is grossly understated.

That said, if we simply double the 12 components, to 24 (for two cells) assuming that for a two-celled organism to evolve, it needs all 24 components, (12 from each) to reorganize (mutate) correctly.  The number of possible combinations for those 24 pieces is around 6.2*10^23, with only one being correct.  Again, assuming only about half of the possible outcomes are needed, on average, for one species to form a new species, that's still 1:3.1*10^23 attempts.  Even if there were one billion 'attempts' per second, it would still take 300 trillion years to get through 3.1*10^23 possible outcomes.  And we have neither looked at, nor even considered either of the complexities of unique RNA (see below), or the c.~ 75 trillion cells in just one human...

It is said that "The probability... that a specific ribozyme (300 nucleotides long, w/ any one of four possible nucleotides being present, at each one of the 300 positions) might assemble correctly, even once, by chance in 13 billion years are... 1:4^300.[4]  Dr. David Deamer.

Contrast those odds with the trillions of times science, even G-d-hating secular 'science', suggests that some mechanism of ID causality would have been required to make the leap from simple (one less-complex form of life, at each and every one of the witto, itty bitty micro steps along the way) to complex.  Never mind to a much more complex form of life, with both RNA & DNA info in it, by adding either DNA or RNA as necessitated, and it becomes (or should become) plain to see, atheists, that life without G-d (Christ) is truly impossible...

“No Jesus, NO peace” and yet, “Know Jesus, KNOW peace”

How does one get to “know” Jesus?  Simple, invite Him into your heart, as Jesus says: “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. Incarnation to Resurrection, Day Twenty-two

Incarnation to Resurrection

#‎RAD #‎ATEND G-d (Christ) #‎IIC714

Incarnation to Resurrection roughly three and one-half years, in 12 weeks, Sunday through Friday (six days) per week

Day Twenty-two of Eighty-four:

Today we commence with our fourth week in this twelve week blast through the life of Jesus the Christ / Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Rabbi Yesua bar Yosef).  As we reflect, His life, from a cursory review TaKaKh (Christian Old Testament) prophecies about Messiah, to His birth, limited childhood Ministry & His adult Earthly Ministry of roughly three-and-a-half years, we realize that Four Gospels cannot possibly carry all of the Earthly exploits of G-d Incarnate.  That said, today we’ll look at some more of Jesus’ healings, a man with a skin disease is healed by Jesus, merely by the will of G-d.

Next we read not only of Jesus healing the servant of a Centurion, but we see a fascinating teaching on G-dly authority.  This is truly profound.  The Centurion obviously had sufficient worldly wealth that he could afford, and did indeed have, ‘paid-for-help’ (servants) in his home.  The “…senior centurion in a legion being…[was in] a position of great prestige”[1] and yet this particular Centurion, although clearly a man of position & great prestige, paused to pay homage to the authority of Jesus.  The Centurion recognized not only the authority Jesus carried, but also WHY.  You see Jesus’ authority, as He attested to many times during His three-and-a-half year Earthly Ministry, was not His alone, it’s from G-d the Father - “…The Son cannot do anything of his own will, but the thing that he sees The Father is doing” - John 5:19, Aramaic Bible in Plain English.

Most of us are likely familiar with the story of the Lazarus, John 11:1 – 44, TLV, but how many readily know (beyond a quick dismissive nod) that Jesus raised more that just Lazarus from the dead?  In today’s read, Luke Chapter Seven verses 11 - 16, we read the account of Jesus raising a widow’s son, Luke 7:11, essentially by saying little more than - “…get up…” to the deceased.  “Get Up”, it’s that simple

And yes, once more… that, right there ^ ^ ^ that, my friends, is GOOD NEWS!

We’ll leave reading the rest of the text for you individually.

I’ve taken the liberty of assembling a weekly chart of daily readings to cover the chronology
