Use Of Name Calling
Jesus
rebuked many people during his ministry, and he even used name calling. Here are some of the things he called people:

theatrical production out of Piety, Swine, Pigs, Dogs, Serpents, Blind Guides,
Fools & Hopeless ones, Murderers, A Fox, White Washed Tombs, And Children
Of The Devil.
The
Church He began, with His death and resurrection, is to be a reflection not
only of His loving kindness, but also of His Holy Righteousness. The people that He used those names on, were
people wholly devoted to attending, and leaders (High Priests, Scribes,
Pharisees and Sadducees) of, the Synagogues (Religious Elite) of His day
though!

Matthew
23 opens with - "Then Yeshua addressed the
crowds and his talmidim (to his disciples): 2 “The Torah-teachers (Scribes) and
the P’rushim (Pharisees),” he said, “sit in the seat of Moshe (Moses)."

He
(Jesus) called the Pharisees of His day (highly religious and devoted 'church
goers' in effect), vipers & snakes, ‘play-actors’
refusing to lift oppressive burdens up off the backs of the rank and file
believer.
He

goers' in effect) dogs, and even said of them, they are ignorant snobs,
completely out of touch with G-d (Christ), YHVH / HaShem... – “The Parush (Pharisee) stood and prayed to himself,
‘O God! I thank you that I am not like the rest of humanity — greedy,
dishonest, immoral, or like this tax-collector!” - Luke 18:11, CJB,

Paul
warns us to be very wary of the judaizing dawgz of today, the “Torah Obervants”
(TO’s) / “Hebrew Roots Movement” (HRM) and “Black Hebrew Roots Movement” (BHRM)
adherents / “Sacred Namers” (SN’s) / “Hebrew Names Only” (HNO’s) adherents / “Seventh
Day Adventists” (SDA) / “Latter Day Saints” (LDS, Original and Reorganized) and
Jehovah’s Witnesses (JW’s) / King James Version Only (KJVoly-ists) / and other
elitists (basically legalistic judaizers
of the Christian Faith) who all claim that ‘Man Can Do It’ - First “through
doing good works” and Second by adhering to exclusively the judaizing dawg CULT’s
teachings and ways of the CULT. - Philippians 3:2 – ‘Look out for those dogs [Judaizers, legalists],
look out for those mischief-makers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh.”

If
all of this seems really heavy, take heart!
Romans 4:4 – 5 gives us Great Hope. Hope in Him (Jesus) that He has already done,
that which we cannot do for ourselves – “get right with our Heavenly Father”. Remember right after the Pharisee, noted above
in Luke 18:11 above, boasts of his personal
self-righteousness, we first read “…the tax collector … said, 'God, have mercy
on me, a sinner’.” - Luke 18:13, and then second,
we read Jesus’ Words that - “It’s the repentant tax collector, NOT the Pharisee,
whose prayer G-d hears.” - Luke 18:14,
paraphrased.
“No
Jesus, NO peace” and yet, “Know Jesus, KNOW peace”
How
does one get to “know” Jesus? Simple,
invite Him into your heart, as Jesus says: “Here I am! I stand at the door and
knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with
him, and he with me.” [Revelation
3:20 NIV] How can be assured that this Jesus stuff
means anything? Well because the Bible
tells us so, as the Apostle Paul wrote:
“If
you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that
God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart
that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess
your faith and are saved.” [Romans
10:9-10 NIV]
And
for those of you who say to me, I can’t be bothered reading the Bible, “it’s
confusing” or “it’s a waste of my time”, may I draw your attention to what the
Bible says about wisdom: “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and
knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” [Proverbs 9:10 NIV]

3:16 says: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that
whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
And
John 14:6 says: “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No
one comes to the Father except through me.”

* FOX - the Greek word used in Luke 13:32,
translated into English simply as “fox”, alópéx (ἀλώπηξ) is
actually a Feminine Noun, and
although it clearly can, and indeed does, mean to be ‘fox-like’, or ‘a crafty
person’, it also means quite literally – “a female fox”. “Strong's
Concordance”, Bible Hub Now let that
sinc & sync in for a spell. Our Lord
Jesus, King of kings, Lord or lords, who said “…turn the other
cheek…” – Matthew 5:39, paraphrased, also very clearly referred
to the human male Sovereign of the land in which He dwelt as “A Female Fox”. This point is particularly poignant because
not only was this king a male, king Herod (Luke 13:31) who was noted
for his decadent lusts for ‘fair young maidens’, he also had quite the reputation
for having an affinity for, and rather very much fancying, tender young boys. In 20th and 21st
century street vernacular, Jesus could very well have said – “…go tell that
faggot…” Consider also what the BRI
states here[1] “…a
nobody, a worthless demagogue, a stupid buffoon, an insignificant, puffed-up
swell-headed braggart. In the language of today's children Herod was a
"penis head" or an "ultimate zero".” Also, noteworthy on this point of Jesus
referring to Herod as “a female fox” is that He did so in an open, public forum. Read Luke 13, Jesus is teaching on “Turning to
God”, “the Barren Fig Tree” “Demon Possession”, “the Barren Fig Tree”, “the Kingdom
of God” and “The Narrow Door”. Jesus did
not quietly, discreetly so as NOT TO OFFEND the Pharisees’ and other itching
ears, deliver His message of Herod being “a female fox”. He boldly declared it to all present, both
the Pious uber Religious and the irreverent tax collecting sinners.
