MOSSAD EMBLEM / INSIGNIA

MOSSAD EMBLEM / INSIGNIA
Seven-Candle Menorah, with Inscription

All right, after much digging, querying and pondering...  I have come up with this.

***NOTE***

The answer I am about to post comes from Wikipedia (and I am ALWAYS very cautious about Wiki... b/c a) it is so easily edited, and b) because it tends to be far too left-leaning for my tastes) that said I have come up with:

Top Rocker: (read from right to left, beginning with the dot moving counter-clockwise) - says: "Where no wise direction is, a people falleth:"

Bottom Rocker: (also read right to left, beginning with the dot moving counter-clockwise) - says: "but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety."

This is their (Mossad's) present MOTTO and is based upon Proverbs 11:14 "Where no wise direction is, a people falleth; but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety." (unable to provide English version of this scripture)

Mossad's former 'Motto' was based also on a Proverb, Proverbs 24:6 and says - "For by wise guidance you can wage your war"

Also, by way of being for-warned, thus for-armed (prepared) a quick Google search of the Hebrew letters / words, will likely lead also to a series of Anti-Zionist, Anti-Israel and / or flat out Anti-Semitic sites wherein the English translation will be postulated thusly (or in some vulgar variation): "By Way Of Deception, Thou Shalt Do Terrorism"  I mention this simply because such Anti-Semitic trash is on the web, will pop up when doing searches / research, ergo I feel it best that folk be provided with at least a heads up. wr (Da Bauz)
