Anti-Semitism, what do you do
What will you do…?
Good morning,
You're awakened by a noise, a disturbance, some
shouting. You hear an angry male voice
saying:
“...who do I think I am “Chamberlain” wasn’t isn’t it
'your people'...?”
and then you hear a splash, evidently, he threw his
coffee down your neighbour's path
The neighbour asks him - “Why did you use the name
“Chamberlain” at me?"
And his reply was - "Okay “Churchill!”
After speaking with your neighbour, you learn that the
day before, while riding in a Taxi she was asked, by the Taxi driver:
“Why you Jews kill Jesus? Why you go to Europe? Why Jews stealing from Europeans?” Etc.,
To ask such things at all, is incorrigible. To ask such things in in front of a child, a
young girl in fact, is not only open hate of Jews / Israel, but also blatant
anti-Semitism, and a very worrying and worrisome trend.
So... now what do you do? Do you go back inside your safe little house
and pretend you - “Do not even know the Jewish lady”, for fear of reprisal from
other anti-Semitic neighbours? Do you
boldly stand by your Jewish friend, and neighbour, knowing full well that this
may very likely place a target on your, and on your family's, backs also? Perhaps your employer might say to you, “It
doesn't look good for the company, for you to be consorting with one of those
'dirty Jews'.” Or, maybe one of your own
children comes home from school saying, “Mommy /daddy, our teacher asked us to
make a list of the addresses of any houses we think may have those 'dirty Jews'
living in them.” What ya gunna do? I know, I know…you’re likely wondering - “Who
does this DaBauz guy even think he is, who is going to be that ‘in-your-your-face’
with blatant anti-Semitism, and be so blunt? No
one. That level of blatant anti-Semitism
just isn’t seen, these days.” And you’re
right, of course, just like the English, American and Canadians were “right” in,
1920, “Adolf Hitler's rise to power began in
Germany in September 1919…”[1]; 1925, “Hitler publishes Mein Kampf - July 18, 1925”[2];
1930, Hitler’s rise to power and insanity continues; 1933, Hitler was appointed
“…as Chancellor on 30 January 1933 after a
series of parliamentary elections and associated backroom intrigues.”[1];
1936, “…Adolf Hitler’s re-militarization of
Germany’s Rhineland in 1936…”[3]… and in 1939, we know from
history what Hitler did next… “September 1,
1939… Germany invaded Poland”[3] But hey, that level of blatant anti-Semitism just
isn’t seen, “these days.”
I read about a fellow, who, a couple thousand years
ago, swore he would fiercely stand-by a dear friend, a friend of over three
intense years. But when push came to
shove, at least at first, he chose the seemingly “easy way”. When he was asked, “Hey, don't you know...?”
he very quickly denied all knowledge.
Brazenly disavowing himself from any, and all, connection with the party
in question.
Later, very early in the morning, after being asked by
three different people, “Hey, weren't you friends with...?”, just before dawn,
the man heard a rooster crow.
Immediately he was reminded of the conversation where his trusted friend
had told him, “…before the rooster crows, you
will deny knowing me three times.” The
man’s blood ran cold, he broke down, and burst
into tears, ashamed and in anguish, reflecting on what he’d just done.
The man who was being denied, was Jesus the Christ, of
Nazareth / Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Rabbi Yeshua bar Yosef), the King of kings, and
King of the Jews. The man who did the denying
was the Apostle Peter. The good news is,
as one can read more about in Mark 14:29 - 31,
Mark 14:69 - 72 and John 21:15 - 19, that Jesus fully restored Peter.
The above story is real, but the year was not 1939,
it's 2018. The names used were not,
Chamberlain or, Churchill, but instead they were:
“Osama bin laden”, and Trump.
And the questions were not about “Europe” or Jews
stealing from “Europeans”.
They were - “Why you Jews kill Jesus?”, “Why you go to
Tel Aviv?” and “Why Israel killing ‘palesteens’?" etc. And the fact of the matter folks is - “The
Jewish People did NOT kill Jesus.” - Your sins, my sins, the sin of Adam, and
the sins of those still not yet even born, that’s what killed Jesus. Or, at least why Jesus He had to die.
This lady's name is Amber, she lives in the U.K., and as
Amber says:
“Anti-Semitic reporting
is what I deal with, for others, everyday!
When it happens to you... panic mode sets in. It’s easier to deal with other people’s
reports.
Note, this is becoming a
regular occurrence [in London].” emphasis,
in parentheses, mine
Now... What do you do? What will you do? Will you stand with your Jewish friends,
neighbours, & even family, and with Israel? Or, will you turn, tuck-tail, run and go into
hiding?
Asking for a friend, Jesus...
“No Jesus, NO peace” and yet, “Know Jesus, KNOW peace”
How does one get to “know” Jesus? Simple, invite Him into your heart, as Jesus
says: “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and
opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.” [Revelation 3:20 NIV]
How can be assured that this Jesus stuff means anything? Well because the Bible tells us so, as the
Apostle Paul wrote:
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is
Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be
saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it
is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” [Romans 10:9-10 NIV]
And for those of you who say to me, I
can’t be bothered reading the Bible, “it’s confusing” or “it’s a waste of my
time”, may I draw your attention to what the Bible says about wisdom: “The fear
of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is
understanding.” [Proverbs 9:10 NIV]

John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the
world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not
perish but have eternal life.”
And John 14:6 says: “Jesus answered, “I am
the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through
me.”
